Entry#24

I am not really sure how I feel about Romeo and Juliet. I like certain scenes (such as the scene where Tybalt dies) when their is alot of emotion and drama but certain scenes I do not enjoy because it is really boring to me since it is hard to translate the language to modern day english. I think that the story is very interesting because I like to see what was normal back then is very different to what is normal today. I think some people in the play are written in a way that is very different from today like the fact that Juliet fell in love with Romeo to quickly. There are many other examples of this but it bugs me that Shakespeare wrote some characters like this because the way they are written into the story makes them sound foolish, silly and dumb. This play will have me unsure until the end. At the end I think I will decide if it is good or not but it is hard for me to make a decision until then.
