1. What is meant by a "man of wax"?
They mean that this man is the perfect guy he is supposed to be gorgeous and he is very tall and muscular. This man is suppose to be the man every girl dreams to be with, he is perfect in the eyes of others.
2. Describe Juliet
Juliet is really young and innocent she doensn't really want to be married and she is having a tough time saying no to this man since she is being pressured to marry this man. Juliet hasn't really thought of "love" and she isn't sure what to do.
3. Describe her nurse
The nurse is really obedient to the family however she really wants Juliet to get married to Paris. She is kind of rude and obnoxious in this manner. She is saying marry him who cares about his personality he's successful and good looking. The nurse is over the top in pressuring Juliet to marry him.
4. Describe her mother
Juliet's mother doesn't really care what Juliet ends up in choosing as long as Juliet is happy. She wants Juliet to at least give Paris a chance not for sure marry him but at least go out with him and see how she feels after she gets to know Paris.
5. As a young person of the 21st Century, what is your reaction to this pressure being placed on young Juliet?
I don't agree with the pressure being put on Juliet to marry a guy she doesn't know because I personally believe she should have a choice in who she marries. If she doesn't like the guy or if she doesn't want to marry anyone I don't get why she should be pressured into doing something she doesn't want to do.
