Entry#13

The chapter A View to Death was very dark and unsettling. The book has changed from a story of boys trying to survive to a story where a group of boys are on the verge of insanity. The entire story switched direction after the death of Simon. I was shocked that the boys killed Simon. The reason that they murdered Simon was rather odd. I understand living on an island thinking someone or something is go to attack you is rather unnerving, however the fact they went and killed him because he appeared from the shadows was cruel, inhumane and unjust. This story has reached a new level and I think the level it has reached is over the top. My opinion is that the boys can never be the same or normal again.
